Why do so few people "get it" when it comes to Sarah Palin and her gross political immaturity?

This woman is evasive when it comes to answering any direct questions, she has no experience outside of Alaska, she thinks "foreign policy experience" stems from being able to see Russia from Alaska, she thinks it's OK to make up facts as she goes along (not unusual among politicians, but scary for a vice presidential candidate), and she thinks the whole thing is just some kind of grand adventure. The media is ripping her to shreds, especially Katie Couric and Charlie Rose, but apparently many people are ignoring these warning signs and saying she would be just fine as president. McCain has a statistically high probability major incapacitating health issues that would prevent him from serving his entire term. Are we really ready for this? Let the games begin.
