Have u explained to him that ur not interested in him? maybe he thinks ur going to hit on him and turn him gay. He's not ashamed of u otherwise he wouldnt talk or have a friendship with u. Just tell him that ur just trying to make new friends and hes one of the first friends u have in preston. Maybe his other friends will be hurtful to u and hes trying to prevent that from happening.
