What is a breech foal?

Mammals are supposed to be born head first because the head is usually the biggest part. At the end of a pregnancy, the baby should maneuver itself to exit head first. If it doesn't, you run the risk of the cervix not opening up enough and not having room for the head to come out too-then you have a breech. Human babies that are in breech are delivered by C-section.
