39 weeks and 5 days pregnant pressure in rectum.?

I am almost 40 weeks. I have not lost my mucus plug yet, but this morning i woke up with and extreme amount of pressure on my rectum. Last week i had allot of stomach tightening with no pain but nothing consistent. How close am i to labor? What does the pressure on my bum mean?
