Is there a way for you to quickly copy text into a text field on another website?

For instance, I'm on the NY Times website and I find something interesting on Zimbabwe. I read the article, but I don't know who certain figures are. I would like a way to simple highlight that text and right click: instead of the usual back forward reload and paste options, I'd like options for google, digg, yahoo, or wikipedia. This would be much easier than copying the text, typing the website url, and then pasting the text. Is there something like this or am I just being lazy?
